how many ways can you get 2 pairs in a 5 card poker hand?

I came up with:
c(4,2) * c(4,2) * c(13,2) * 44 = 123,552

I am not sure if this takes into account the fact that a true 2 pair hand would have 2 pairs of different cards so that it is not a 4 of a kind.

You have it right:

Choose the first pair: 13 x c(4,2)
Choose the second pair: 12 x c(4,2)
Divide by 2! because they can occur in either order.
44 other cards (11 x 4) for the 5th card:

The number 123,552 is confirmed at http://www.poker1.com/mcu/tables/Table12.asp

Good work!
