Which poker case is better; aluminum or wood?

I want to buy a friend a poker set and can not decide which case he would like. It's between an aluminum case or a wooden case. I would like the wooden one, but I'm not sure about him. I'd like some other opinions, please. =)

fullhouse 		Wood is nicer, aluminum is more practical.

A wooden case is going to be heavier and more expensive.
