ger2000 		A good support team will be the key. First player want you to take care of them, they don't really care to get a big rakeback or big bonus if anyway they have problems to withdraw theirs funds etc...


Then a shop would be more popular than a cash bonus

twocox 		Good software is key. If the games don't run smoothly and have intuitive controls, I'm not interested.

Good rakeback and frequent player programs. I want to be able to buy into tournaments and buy cash bonuses with points.

Fast support. I want to know that if I email a question, I'll hear back within a day. Live support would be ideal but I understand it's not realistic.

Minimum 100% deposit bonus. You'll never get my money without this.

Players, players, and more players. If I can't get 10 tables up and running almost all the time, chances are I won't come back very often.

Easy and efficient banking. If I cash out, I want my money quickly. Right now, Pokerstars checks usually get here within a week. That should be your target.

And I know this might sound unrealistic, but free money in my account with no restrictions. Every good poker room does this, whether it be through freerolls or simply putting money in your account (Pokerstars has done that in the past). I don't care how well your fake money tables work, if I don't know ahead of time that I can find enough games and the that the real money games run smoothly, I will NEVER make a deposit. And if you want to pry my play away from Pokerstars or even Full Tilt (which I do not use that often), you've got to make the money accessible. If I have to play in a freeroll, you better run them often, cap the players at a 1,000 or less, and have multiple prizes that are enough to buy into a decent game.
