What would happen if someone who's not 21 wins the freeroll of one of the websites for WSOP Main Event?

Do they just have to surrender the spot to the next person in line, which would the 1st runner-up. Do they at least get some money out of it since they won. Can they sell or give their spot up to one of their friends or family member or somebody they know or do they not have that priveledge.

I think you only need to be 18.
And if the person who was playing was on line wouldn't it just go into their account.
Then you just ask for them to send you a check.
hope this helps

Basically i think that to have a money account you need to be 21, therefore if you would win and they would figure you werent 21 they would just put the persons whos name your acocount is under insteaad of you,...i think.
anyhow i think the legal age is now 18

They do not buy you into the event. They just credit your account with the value of the prize package ($10,000 plus whatever they allot for expenses). You could just keep the money and not go to the WSOP.

There's also a chance that somewhere in the small print it says you must be 21 depending on the site, and it that case you would forfeit the prize since you violated the terms of the agreement (in other words, you entered the tournament even though you were not eligible).

This is all assuming you are at least 18. If you are younger, then you were not eligible to play on the website anyway, so you would forfeit your prize and any money in your account.
