Thoughts On Poker Affiliate Programs?

I run a poker website and so of course am affiliated with the two big online poker rooms fulltilt and pokerstars but I'm not getting the sign ups I have in the past. I'm thinking for the obvious reason that everyone interested in playing online poker has already signed up for one or the other. So I'm pondering on switching back and forth between different smaller sites, trying a different one each month or something like that. (I should probably add in that my site is directed not towards a large group of poker players but towards a smaller audience less than 1,000 so it's important to me to offer quality products and services so I don't turn them off.) So I guess the main question here is does anyone have good recomendations to some of the smaller sites, not only their affiliate programs but their over all design and functionality user friendly, fast payments, good customer service, etc?

any comments are greatly appreciated

My suggestion would be to sign up with intertops http://affiliate.intertops.com/processing/clickthrgh.asp?btag=a_1877b_808

They have a poker room, casino, and sportsbook. I personally promote them as well as play there and they give amazing comps to their players. I also really like the game play they have and love how fast they pay out also. I have never had a problem with them and none of my players have had problems either. I highly recommend this program.

Try this one. I have used many before and am happy so far. Poker rooms, casino play and sports betting. 25% up to 50% take.

I think you're just noticing a slump that a lot of us are experiencing. My numbers were highest last fall and kind of tailed off a bit, and are now starting to bounce back a little. The thing to consider is, there's always a new crop of players coming out (whether it be coming of age, getting their own computer, etc) so switching to exclusively lesser-known programs might not be in your best interest.

I've been toying with promoting things like poker-trackers in addition, but still haven't decided whether or not it would be worth my while. Maybe you can also join up with a sportsbook/poker site/casino (all in one) and offer them in addition to what you have now to cater to those who might only want 1 account, but also want to bet on sports. Don't make it your focus, but get an option like that out there.

Hope this helps!

Give MoreNiche a try. I promoted their poker site for about 2 months and now averaging 2-3 sales a day. I highly recommend them http://tinyurl.com/pmsazg
