Recommendations on poker books: Omaha and/or Stud?

I've been mainly playing hold'em for a while and dabbled in some games of omaha and stud. Books that cover the basics of poker not necessary. I'd like further understanding of Omaha and Stud.

These are very good books you can't go wrong with.
1)For Omaha starters try Bob Ciaffone new edition of OMAHA POKER-this has all the variations in it high-hi/lo-limit-pot limit and tournament play. Omaha is one game that is very popular in pot limit.
2)7 Card Stud for Advanced Players by Sklansky-Malmuth and Zee. Just looks at the authors-a heavy weight line up. This is a very thick book
3)High-Low-Split Poker for Advanced Players-by Zee
this is 2 books in 1, 7 Card Stud and Omaha Eight-or-Better

I can go on and on and write 2 pages of book recommendations but if you start with these 3 and master them you will for sure be one great 7 card stud and omaha player.

the omaha section of super/system 2 is excellent and gives you a good insight into the finer points of the game and especially how it differs from hold 'em...and if you're talking about stud hi, chip reese's section in super/system 1 is supposed to be great, although i've never read it personally, and if you're talking about stud hi-lo, todd brunson's section of super/system 2 is very good as well

Already a good list from the answers above. Just wanted to add one more that has many Omaha and Stud examples 'Pot-Limit and No Limit Poker' by Ciaffone and Reubens... very nicely written book IMHO.

Can't go far wrong with the Super / System 2 chapter either.

Yes, I agree the section about omaha, omaha hi/low, 7 stud and 7 stud hi/low in super system 1 and 2 are great. I would add the hi/low-split poker seven card stud eight or better by ray zee, omaha by ken warren, and the seven card stud by david sklanski.

Take care
