Question about headphones at the World Series of Poker?

are you allowed to wear them at the main event? someone was asking me and I don't know.

I played in a couple smaller events at the WSOP last year in 2009 ($1500 NL and $2500 PLO) and you were allowed to use IPODS until you reached the money. Then you were required to take them off.
Maybe they have changed the rules, but I believe in the early stages of the tournaments they are allowed. However, I have not been down there yet this year (leave next week) so perhaps the rules have changed.
Try the official website to see if they say....I'm at work, and our server blocks Poker related sites so I can't check for you.

celt71 		That is illegal.. If you are a player at the Word Series of poker, you are not allowed to use any gadgets - cellphones, pda's, laptops, mp3 players, etc. For security purposes.. Its fairly easy nowadays to rig an earphone to be a two way radio so someone can coach you.. I personally prefer to play in online tournaments.. no restrictions..
