Promoting a poker website in USA for a friend outside USA?

A friend of mine who is a small affiliate for a small online poker website asked me to put up some fliers promoting his special deal with the website. The site is open to USA players however I think it's illegal for me to promote online poker while in the USA, however he only wants me to just put up some fliers as a favor. Anyone have any thoughts whether i could get in any trouble doing this?

smithy 		Don't bother with google adwords, they don't accept gambling ads.

The answer would really depend on what state in America you live in - state laws vary regarding online poker. If you live in Washington, I would say don't do it.

As to any other state, you'd need to check the laws yourself. Be careful, but remember your right to free speech.
