cameron 		Assuming they aren't busy doing something else (like eating or playing at a table), certainly. However, if they happen to have written a book or two on the subject (and many have), it would be far more likely to get some relevant assistance if you'd already bought and read some of them (especially considering the book may address what you needed to know to begin with.) Preface the question with something like, "In your book, you said..." and then ask them to clarify or expand upon what the book said - most pros would probably be a lot more inclined to help out someone who's already put some royalty money in their pocket.

cameron 		Of course, YES it is helpful. Professional poker players are very rich when it comes to experience. Asking them for some tips is something really worth doing.
