In online Texas Hold em poker, what's to stop me leaving the table to avoid the small or big blind?

Davidov 		If you join a table while it is in mid-session (as in you weren't there to begin with), you will have to post the big blind amount regardless of your position.

If you mean like leaving a table when you are about to be blinded and never to return, well I guess nothing, but I think you'd start to be noticed for that and everything.

Davidov 		depends on where you are. if you play for play money nothing stop you. if you play real money online you have to pay a big blind to join a table in the middle of the game, and if you play at a casino same thing, casino also wont let you table hop. sure you can change tables what i mean is you cant cash out your profit and go sit at another table the way you can online you have to wait half an hour if you want to take money off the table. and in a tourney you will be auto blinded if you are away from the table. you will post get cards and fold to any bet. in short u cant do that for real but if your playin on myspace its ok

fullhouse 		Normally people leave right when it's their turn to become the big blind. Of course, if you sit down at most cash tables, they make you post the big blind no matter where you are, so you aren't really saving anything over time.
