In Texas Holdem does the small blind have to pay up?

In texas Holdem, the player left of the dealer places the small blind.. then the player to his left places a big blind. then everyone to the left matches the big blind, right??

Does the guy who placed the small blind have to pay up when it gets back around to him, or does he just have to pay the small blind?

Lets say that the small blind is one chip, and big blind is two chips... after everyone puts in their bet, does the guy who is small blind have to put in another chip, or is he good with just the one chip in while everyone else put in two?

twocox 		the small blind must pay, everyone on the table must match big blind if they want to stay in.

the reasons for blinds (incase you dont know...) are so the game keeps going.. cause it would be pretty stupid in a tournament if someone just kept on folding every hand untill it came down to the last person..

fullhouse 		well you can raise also. you don't always have to call the blind. you can always raise or fold.

twocox 		the people who didn't have to put in a blind (i.e to the left of the big blind) dont have to put any thing in unless they want to play then they have to match the big blind. the same rule applies to the small blind. he can forfeit his small blind and fold, or put in enough to match the big blind (in your scenario 1 chip) and play
