If I had $1000 for online poker what is a good bankroll management strategy.?

I like fulltilt a lot more then stars but can still qualify for the stars 100% deposit bonus. What would you do with your 1000 if it was you to grind up the stakes. (much better tournament player)

ger2000 		Well I don't know much about tournaments because I am a cash player.

If it were me I would deposit $600 into pstars to get the bonus, then withdraw after its cleared and play on full tilt (especially if you have rake back).

If you ever decide to play cash $1000 is a big enough to play 50nl even though some people like more, but if you haven't played much cash and especially if you are making a transition from tournaments, I would start out at 25nl or even 10nl if you have the patience.

Do you play mtts or sngs?

Davido 		If you are a new player on pokerstars you can of course get the 100% deposit bonus.

As for the bankroll management. If you had $1000 you should play $20 SNGs
