How does one qualify for the WSOP Main Event?

What is the qualifying process one must go through to make the WSOP Main Event? I realize the minimum age is 21 and I am 19 now but I want to try sometime in my life and I just want to know what the process is. Where can I go to qualify online or perhaps in person?
So if I had a spare $10,000 I would just have to pay that and automatically be in?

Davido 		You can either pay the entry fee ($10000) out of pocket. Or you can win it through a satellite. Which is where you pay a smaller amount to enter for a chance to win your entry fee. This is very popular online as well as in casinos in Vegas (or everywhere really). You can possibly qualify for a few dollars online. But due to US Govt regulations, the online poker sites now will just transfer your entry fee into your account. So it is up to you to actually use the money for the WSOP or something else. jonbrown 		Yes, you can pay them the $10,000 and get in. That's why you see a lot of rich celebrities playing that don't know what they're doing.

Davido 		Roma is correct! If you can't afford paying the fee out-of-pocket then try winning a seat through a satellite tournament. This can be as cheap or as expensive as you wants it to be. Be aggressive once you are of age and practice as much as possible.
