How do I win a poker freeroll on Full Tilt?

I have been trying forever now and when I get to the very bubble I always lose. Any tips?

Abbbott 		The key is to make it through the first hour, then most of the idiots who go all in on every hand are gone. Conversely, If you pick up AA or KK in the first 10 hands, go all in preflop, some idiot will call you.

If you're near the bubble, and shortstacked, you have to push with any decent holdings, by that I mean any Ace, Two High cards, and a little as ATC when position allows it.

Conversley, if you have a big stack, the bubble is the time to grow your stack, make 3-4 X raises with minimal holdings (suited connectors, Ace rag, etc.

Lastly, read Dan Harrington's "Harrington on Holdem, at least volume 1 and 2

ger2000 		If you never lose when you go All-in then you will win the tournament. Try to do that.

montie 		I took 2nd not to long ago in a 150 freeroll. I was pissed I didn't win but it is possible. only took me 4 years of play.
when you get to the bubble you have to steal some pots from the tight people that are just waiting to make the money and you need a good stack be for you get their so you can open up your range of hands and you need to run good with a lot of luck. Somebody has to win so gl and keep at it.

jamsey 		Well, freerolls are tough because of the high number of entrants they receive. To make it deep into freerolls takes patience, time, luck, and more luck. Solid play helps too. You'll likely see a lot of donks in the early stages go all in because they don't want to play with a short stack, they'd rather not play at all. Maybe you're not getting aggressive enough in the middle stages. Know when you can buy a pot with position. Don't get married to premium hands. Freerolls are always a crapshoot, even for "good" players.

jonbrown 		Keep at it, have confidence, and good things will happen. Play tight for the first few blind levels and only play premium hands, when you pick up a good hand play it aggressively as there are a lot of bad players in the freerolls and will play just about anything because obviously it is free. You have to know when you are beat even if that means folding a monster hand. The difference between a good and a bad player is a good player can fold pocket aces or kings when he/she knows when they are beat. You will get there, good luck..........and maybe pick up a poker book on tournaments - Harrington on Hold'em is a good one.

jonbrown 		If you have around 10 big blinds or less, you have one decision: fold or go all in. Wait for premium hands + plus good position and SHOVE.

montie 		position position position you have 10bbs left on the button you push or you can be a rat and sit out near the bubble and wait for others to bust out
