Any tips on playing strip poker with a few friends?

Me, two girlfriends, the guy I like, the guy one of my friends likes, and another guy are all planning on playing strip poker. I've played silly versions of strip poker where everyone just kinda took off earrings, jackets, belts, etc. But I think it's gonna be slightly more serious this time. My friends will help me brush up on my poker skills, but is there anything else I should know about strip poker specifically? Should we set boundaries / discuss it beforehand, or just wing it? (I know that me and my friends have no intentions on ending up naked) Are there any rules I should be aware of? And of course, any tips on the game would be great. (:
Thanks!

Oh, and please no mean comments about me playing strip poker. If you can answer my question seriously, great. If you're not going to, please just don't bother.

Yes, be sure to set all ground rules for the playing & for the stripping beforehand! If you want to drop out after getting down to 1 or 2 items, be sure everyone knows up front. I started out playing non-naked versions. If you have the right group, move on to the fully naked version after a while. It's really fun !

p.s. I like your name! I'm wondering how old you & your friends are?

to be honest, when playing strip poker, the key is to be the only guy there. that way, you have nothing to lose..(guys only)

though i never tried it, there are some common sense rules: wear more...i dunno, maybe a few layerings of socks. shirts, bras??, etc. u prob. know ur friends will...those cheap plastic bracelets might work as well...

The key thing to poker is bluffing...try not to make any faces at all times, good or bad....if you start off with a lot, u can try and bluff ur way by making everyone else fold...raise the bar!

Oh, never go all in..u might never know when it backfires...

There are hundreds of variations of play & rules. Usually everyone hammers out the rules before you start, esp how far you will go & how many losers there will be (e.g. game ends when 1 is naked, or when 3 are, etc). Usually everyone starts out with the same number of articles on. Often if someone stops before naked, they have to pay a dare or penalty (e.g. get a spanking from the others!) Just make sure you are comfortable with the arrangements before the 1st hand. Make sure everyone knows how much you are willing to take off.
With the right players & the right attitudes you will have fun, win or lose. Trust me.

I agree with Molly. Know the rules. Don't chicken out. Sounds like you will only strip to your underwear & that's not all that embarrassing. Be on the lookout for cheating by the guys !! So have fun, I think it's a great game you can adjust to your comfort zone. Go for it !
